In a life filled with darkness, you have been a shining light. Years ago, ancient history to some, I was an angry and helpless young man with immense trust issues. Convinced there was no place for me in this society I was on the warpath, about to leave the country in order to fight in another man's war. This was when I met you for the first time. Where others failed, you did not. Today, while still not fully recovered from a lifetime of trauma, you have helped me find the will to live. No small feat.
